Coach Pitch Softball
For softball players ages 6 - 9. League age is determined based on a player's age on January 1, 2025.
Coach Pitch Softball is focused on developing fundamental skills and providing a more consistent learning environment by having coaches pitch during games. Players should be introduced to the pitching mechanics in practice but coaches will pitch during games.
Positivity and sportsmanship are a focal point of Coach Pitch softball. Creating an environment that is fun, encouraging and engaging will help players develop a life long love of the sport.
Season begins April 14, 2025 and runs through June 14, 2025. Coach Pitch softball games are played on Mondays/Wednesdays and Saturdays. Practice days will vary depending on team assignment.
Coach Pitch players need to have a mitt and softball pants. Cleats are recommended but are not required. Softball pants color is team specific so it is best to wait until teams are assigned and find out from the coach what color pants to get.
